Questions and Answers
FY26MRZRMXBPA - Tactical Vehicle Maintenance Closed 17 Feb 2026 1000hrs
1. The total number of each vehicle type currently in the fleet (MRZR, MRZR-Alpha, Ranger XP Crew, Club Car).
Response:
MRZR: 13
MRZR-Alpha: 5
Polaris Ranger XP Crew Cab: 2
Golf Cart: 1
2. Estimated annual service volume or historical usage under prior agreements, if available.
The volume of service would be determined by the manufacturer's maintenance schedule for each of these 21 vehicles, plus any unscheduled repairs that arise during the period of performance.
3. Please also confirm whether any materials or consumables would be Government-furnished, or if our company is expected to provide both services and all associated parts/materials. It appears that the contractor is responsible for providing all required parts and materials, including but not limited to oils, fluids, tires, brake pads, batteries, and other Polaris-approved or manufacturer-recommended components, and that pricing should be all-inclusive (labor, diagnostics, parts, and materials), with no Government-furnished parts or consumables anticipated.
Based on the provided Statement of Work (SOW), contractors are expected to provide both the services and all associated parts and materials. The government will not be furnishing any consumables or parts for this work.
This is confirmed in several sections of the document:
• Section 2.0 SCOPE OF WORK: This section explicitly states, "The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items as well as non-personal services necessary to inspect and service..."
• Section 5.5: This clause requires the contractor to "fix all issues with the... vehicles... using Polaris approved or recommended parts." This indicates the responsibility to source and use the correct parts.
• Section 9.1 APPLICABLE STANDARDS: It reinforces that "All replacement parts must be Polaris-approved or recommended to ensure vehicle integrity and performance."
