· 2 of the beds must be in their own unit with at least 1 full bathroom. The other 6 may be in one unit together or split as needed. No more than 4 people per full bathroom.

· To accommodate co-ed living, if a unit has two beds with their own bathroom separate from others and with a floor plan to allow privacy, this will be an acceptable compromise to the request of 2 beds in their own unit.

· These temporary employees are needed to meet mission critical work in the area of wildland fire.

The residence can be a hotel, motel, house, or apartment as long as all requirements are met. Residence must meet all local, state, and federal health and safety requirements.

The employees may be gone for periods of time ranging from a few days to twenty-one days on field or fire assignments. The employees shall not be expected to check in and out during times of absence and may be leaving personal belongings in the room. Parking accommodations will be required for the same amount of vehicles as beds when employee(s) are “in residence” at each establishment.

Water/Sewer/Garbage will be invoiced directly into the monthly rent. The unit must be Wifi capable for immediate connection. The contractor will be responsible for all interior and exterior maintenance and repairs and any required yard work.

The government cannot pay a security deposit; however, when damage caused by employees is outside normal wear and tear, the contractor will work with the BLM for reimbursement.

The government conducts background checks and drug tests as terms of employment. The government is paying for the housing service. No background checks, credit checks, or drug tests will be requested of government employees residing in residence.
