The body of each wage determination lists the classification and wage rates that have been found to be prevailing for the cited type(s) of construction in the area covered by the wage detenmination, The classificatj.ons are listed j'n alphabetical order of ""identifiers"" that lndicate whether the particular rate is a union nate (current union negotiated rate for local), a survey rate (weighted average rate) on a union average rate (weighted union average rate).

Union Rate ldentifiers

A four letter classifi.cation abbreviation identi'fier enclosed in dotted lines beginning with characters other than ""sU"" or ""UAV6"" denotes that the union classification and rate were prevailing for that classification in the survey. Example:

PLUt40198-005 07/01/2014. PLUm is an abbreviation identifien of the union whi.ch prevailed in the survey for this classificatlon, which i.n this example would be Plumbers. 0198 indicates the local union number or distnict council number where appli.cable, i.e., Plumbers Local 0198. The next number, OOS in the example, is an internal number used j'n processing the wage determination. 07 /ol/2Of4 is the effective date of the most cunrent negotiated rate, which j.n this example i.s luly 1, 2074.

Union prevai.ling wage rates are updated to reflect all rate changes in the collective barBainins agreement (CBA) governing this classi.fication and rate.

Survey Rate Identifiers

Classifications listed under the ""SU"" identifier indicate that no one rate pnevailed for this classification in the survey and the published rate is derived by computing a weighted average nate based on a1l the nates reported in the survey fon that classification. As this weighted average rate includes all rates reported in the survey, it may include both union and non-union rates. Example: SULA2gl'2'OOi 5/7)/2074' SU indicates the rates are sunvey nates based on a weighted average calculation of rates and are not majority rates' LA indj'cates the State of Louisiana. 2012 is the year of survey on which these classifications and nates are based. The next number, oo7 in the example, is an internal number used in producing the wage determination. 5/L3/2oL4 j'ndicates the survey completion daie for the classifications and rates under that identifier' survey wage rates are not updated and remain in effect until a new survey is conducted.

Union Average Rate Identifiers

CLassj.fication(s) listed under the UAVG identifier indicate that no single majority rate prevailed for those ctassifications; howere", l^g% of the data reported for the classifications was union data. EXAMPLE: UAVG-oH-0010

68/2g/2}f4. UAVG indicates that the rate is a weighted union iverage rate. oH indicates the state. The next number, 0o10 in the eiample, is an internal number used in producing the wage determination. 08/2g/2014 indicates the survey completion date for the classifications and rates under that identifier'

A UAVG rate will be updated once a year, usually in lanuary of each year, to reflect a weiBhted average of the current n"loti"t"alcaa rate of the union tocals from whjch the rate is based.

State Adopted Rate Identifiers classifications Listed under the ""SA"" identifier indicate that the prevail.ing wage rate set by a state (or local) government was adopted unden zg c.F.R e1.3(g)-(h) ' Example:. SNrtE.2o23-OO1 a7/@/2424. sA neflects that the rates are state adopted' ME reiers to the State of Maine. 2423 i.s the year during which the state completed the sunvey on which the listed classifications and rates ane based. The next number, OO7 in the example' is an internal number used in pnoducing the wage determination'
