About this file
This is a Certification of Compliance form for RFQ 2026-072-MC issued by the Lee County Port Authority in Florida for a progressive design-build project involving a parking garage, Quick Turnaround Area (QTA), and demolition/remediation of existing facilities at Southwest Florida International Airport. The form establishes compliance requirements for all iron and steel materials permanently incorporated into the project, which must be produced in the United States in accordance with Florida Statute 255.0993. Contractors are required to notify and obtain prior written permission from the Lee County Port Authority before purchasing any iron or steel products not produced in the United States, allowing the Authority to determine whether exceptions are permissible under the applicable statute.
The certification form requires contractors to acknowledge their understanding of and agreement with the United States-produced iron and steel requirement, with signature lines provided for authorized company representatives to indicate compliance. The form is part of the larger RFQ documentation package and represents a mandatory contractual obligation for any entity bidding on this public works project.
