Award will be made on a Firm Fixed Price basis to the offeror providing the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote.

DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES

(Qty 1) 10” Bore Trunnion/Tie Rod Style Hydraulic Cylinders with 75” Stroke Including (Qty 1) Clevis End.

(Qty 3) 14” Bore Trunnion/Tie Rod Style Hydraulic Cylinders with 105”, 64.5” & 122.4” Stroke Including (Qty 3) Clevis Ends

1. General Specifications: Qty (4) - manufacture complete per the attached drawings, must meet all current ANSI, ASTM, ASME & ISO specifications & standards related to Hydraulic Cylinders manufacturing.

1. (Qty 1 Each) 10” Bore, 4.500 Rod and 75” working stroke maintaining the 3’10 1/4” dimension from the centerline of the trunnion diameters (3.998/4.000) to the centerline of the clevis inside diameters (4.004/4.002) in the fully retracted position per attached drawing requirements.

2. (Qty 1 Each) 14” Bore, 5.500 Rod and 54 1/2” working stroke maintaining the 4’1 3/4” dimension from the centerline of the trunnion diameters (5.0 +0.0/-.002) to the centerline of the clevis inside diameters (5.010 +.002/-0.0) in the fully retracted position per attached drawing requirements.

3. (Qty 1 Each) 14” Bore, 7.000 Rod and 122.4” working stroke maintaining the 66”

4. (Qty 1 Each) 14” Bore, 7.000 Rod and 105” working stroke maintaining the 3’10 3/4”

5. Each unit to be fully assembled to the Hydraulic Industry Manufacturing Standards.

Protect all exposed machined surfaces that are susceptible to corrosion with the proper preservative if they’re not painted.

6. Each Unit shall include the Clevis end and Hydraulic Cylinder Trunnion with Tie rods fully mounted. A multi tie rod configuration in the designated locations as called out on the drawing is acceptable and to be determined by the manufacturer IAW Hydraulic Cylinder manufacturing industry standards.

7. Trunnions to be Electro-Plated Hard Chrome with a minimum thickness of .002 and a surface finish requirement of 8 microinches rms.

8. Piston Rod Electro-Plated Hard Chrome with a base material of 17-4 PH Stainless Steel, H1150 condition with a minimum chrome thickness of .005 to .007 and a minimum surface finish of 8 microinches rms.

9. Exterior surfaces to be primed and a minimum of (2) coats of paint to the industry standards machinery grey in color. Special considerations for proper prime and paint selection: exposure to extreme weather conditions, the units are covered but outdoors and regularly exposed to excessive heat, humidity, moisture, dust, and occasionally drastic temperature fluctuations. A minimum of one quart of Touch-up paint to be provided per Hydraulic Cylinder unit assembly.

10. Provide detailed electronic blueprint drawings for entire assembly to include every component internal and external, configuration of seals, seal kit number. Internal Piston configuration to be Multi-seal/Multi wear band style. Assembly and detail drawings to be approved by COR prior to manufacture of each unit.

11. Provide Testing Certification – per Industry Standards at a minimum of 3000 PSI.

Provide (O&M) operation and maintenance manuals that includes instructions for required maintenance as well as (PM) preventative maintenance which will ensure long life expectancy.

Provide all relevant warranty information for product.

12. Assembled units are to be shipped in separate box crates to protect them during transport. Units shall be transported on a flatbed style trailer to enable units to be off-loaded with a forklift from the side of the trailer. Electronic documentation copies - Testing certifications (1) copy for each unit. Operation and Maintenance Manuals (1) copy per unit & Warranty information (1) copy for each unit. Each unit shall have an identification tag that includes manufacturer name, serial number, model number, bore diameter and stroke length.

13. The Trunnion configuration can be either design (Split or Solid per attached Drawings).

14. The 7/8-9 Drilled and Tapped Holes are for Lifting and must be Class 2B fit.

15. Each cylinder to have (2) each 2” NPT Ports, (1) on the centerline of each end both directions of the head end and end cap.

16. The Piston Rod to have 4 machined flats for removal from Clevis end.

2. ACCEPTANCE:

The Government shall inspect 100% of the materials delivered on-site.
