About this file

This is a Solicitation Modification document issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky for the procurement of picnic tables. The Kentucky Department of Parks, through the Parks Purchasing Division, is soliciting bids for 131 picnic tables to be delivered to Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park in Gilbertsville, Kentucky. The requested tables are Pilot Rock Model No. XT-G-6TP or approved equal units, each measuring 6 feet in length with pressure-treated #1 Southern Yellow Pine construction and hot dip galvanized steel frames. The solicitation closed on September 16, 2020, at 1:30 PM, with Addendum #2 issued on September 8, 2020. All tables must be delivered unassembled, with delivery and assembly completed prior to February 1, 2021. The vendor is responsible for transporting tables from the loading dock to two outdoor assembly areas within the park, with one location situated 1.5 miles from the dock and the second adjacent to the campground where the tables will ultimately be used.

Pricing for this procurement must be submitted on a unit cost basis, with all delivery, assembly, transportation, and vendor personnel lodging expenses included in the bid unit price. Multiple deliveries are permitted, though payment will be issued only once all items have been received, assembled, and accepted by the park. Vendors proposing alternate brands or specifications must submit descriptive literature with their bids to verify product equality; failure to provide sufficient documentation may result in a non-responsive bid. Bidders must complete the solicitation face page, provide bid information, and confirm acceptance of all terms and conditions outlined in Attachment A and subsequent addenda. The project requires vendor personnel to comply with the park's COVID-19 policy, including mask wearing and social distancing when accessing facilities.
