About this file

This file is a technical specifications document for the Thornapple structured cabling project, part of the FHPS (presumably a school district) RFP. The document provides detailed infrastructure requirements for a technology installation space, including specifications for wireless access points, data locations, A/V capabilities, and teacher station connections throughout multiple rooms. The project requires the installation of grounding busbars, electrical receptacles (L5-20R, 120V), four 4-inch conduits for horizontal pathways, 12-inch by 4-inch cable trays, and 3/4-inch fire-treated plywood backboards standing 8 feet high. Environmental controls must maintain room temperatures between 64°F and 75°F with relative humidity levels between 37% and 55% non-condensing, supported by a dedicated A/C unit. The specifications indicate no suspended ceilings are required or desired, and all grounding infrastructure must connect to the main building ground system.

The document does not contain information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or contract award dates. The technical specifications provided are primarily focused on infrastructure requirements and installation standards necessary to support the structured cabling network across the identified facility spaces.
