About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal conference room technology upgrade project at Kirtland Air Force Base.

The Government seeks to upgrade a conference room with audiovisual and presentation capabilities to support multisource briefings. The project involves installing equipment from Exhibit 2 (or equivalent) into existing storage equipment, including four Vaddio ceiling microphone interface boxes with microphones, four Soundtube CM-EZ-II speakers, additional speakers with mounts, and an Ace Vision VS-U760i Performance Desktop computer. The system requires two DTP transmitters, two DTP receivers, and presentation switchers located at both the conference table and control desk. Two technical sources (TS) and one computer with standard keyboard and mouse provide inputs to the system. The conference room accommodates nine people around a conference table with additional seating in rows facing multiple televisions provided by the Government; updated mounting may be required. The contractor must remove self-installed equipment and meet NIPR security measures. Installation is limited to one week/40 hours on site unless extended by Government approval, with contractor access to the base granted through Government sponsorship. The room is not in a controlled area and does not require escort. This is classified as a supplies requirement; wage determination is not applicable. The Exhibit 2 equipment list represents recommendations from conference room technical experts, but offerors may propose alternative configurations that meet the Statement of Need and room objectives. The contractor may contact the Government representative regarding any additional equipment or extended timelines required.

They may as long is it meets the statement on need and purpose for the room.

13. Is the Exhibit 2 list the new equipment that the government requires and/or prefers?
