Attachment 10 Q&A Golf and Base Pest Control (FA9301-24-R-0007)
Question and Answer Sheet
Number Question Answers 1 If this bid includes rodent control, would a rodent control device meet your bid's requirements, or are you purely looking for a service provider?
Not sure of the question and rodent control device. Looking for a service provider to provide on-site pest control services.
2 Is diphacinone able to be used on the base since it is off-market for most applications in California?
Reference the label on the product. If it is prohibited in California, then it cannot be used on a DoD Installation. If allowed in California, then if may be approved and used.
3 How many past performance questionnaires would you like to see filled out from each company?
5 is the maximum, there is no minimum as some companies may not have past performance available. Note the PPQs will be used for ratings (reference page 80 Table 4 of attachment 9).
4 There is a maximum of five PPQs, but is there a minimum?
Reference answer to question 3.
5 Will we be penalized for more than 5 PP Questionnaire?
There is NO penalty for more than 5 PPQs being provided.
However, only the first 5 PPQs received will be evaluated based on the date of arrival.
Anything above the 5th PPQ will not be reviewed or evaluated.
6 I would like to know how much the current company is charging to do the pest control services?
The overall aggregate amount for the total 5 years is $1,161,845.92.
7 Can we bid for the pest control services alone or do we have to bid for the weed management, the larvae mosquito control, and the bird control?
No, this is a consolidated pest control services contract. All requirements are defined. We are seeking a contractor that can perform all the services within the requirement.
8 CLINs 0016 (page 5), 1016 (page 8), 2016 (page 11), 3016 (page 14), and CLIN 4016 (page 18) talks about cattail control in golf course greens and collars. However, cattails are aquatic weeds and would only need control in the pond(s). Should this CLIN be for pond management?
CLIN X016 only applies to control of Cattails in the Golf Course Pond.
