Q&A – Automatic Door Maintenance (13 Sept 23 Site Visit)
Solicitation # FA9301-22-Q-0017
Note: The subject solicitation allowed for potential offerors to submit questions to the Government by 21 August 2023 at 4:00PM PDT. This document encompasses those questions received and the Governments formal response. It is the offerors responsibility to ensure that the information provided herein is utilized in providing a formal quote to this solicitation.
# Offerors Question Government Answer 1 Can you clarify the O&A? Is it capped at $15k? I want to make sure I understand the billing structure.
Anything outside of the preventative maintenance (PM) and service calls would be considered over and above (O&A) work. The contractor will submit the request in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the costs associated to complete the work—the Government will review for technically acceptability and secure funds to cover the costs for each unique job submitted. This Not to Exceed (NTE) value is the estimate the Government expects to pay during each period of performance.
2 Is the card reader part of the door inspection? No, that is separate. You just inspect and service the physical door.*I believe here they actually won’t have any doors to service that operate by CAC, correct?*
3 Are there any doors on site that are not in operation? If not, when will they be fixed?
Currently we have 1-2 doors that are non-operable, and the expectation would be that the current contractor would perform services to fix. If the door(s) cannot be fixed before the new contract is in place, these will be addressed via and Over and Above request form.
