Questions & Answers:

Question: For CLIN 0004, “Additional In-Scope Work (Non-Personal Service)” is an “as needed” service, is a monetary amount required?

Answer: No. For CLIN 0004, “Additional In-Scope Work (Non-Personal Service)”, which is an 'as needed' service, a monetary amount is not required at the time of response to this solicitation. Costs for these services will be determined and billed at the time the additional work is required, based on actual usage and rates that will be agreed to prior to the work starting.

Question: Please provide the name of the incumbent contractor, contract number, and the awarded price by contract year of the current contract.

Answer:

a. Perimeter Security Partners, LP

b. FA875124F0009

c. Contract total (one year with a 6 month extension) totaled $58,092.45.

Question: 1.3.1.6 of the PWS states, “The Contractor must re-paint the entire barrier structure during the summer PM session to include all metal parts below grade and the surface of the barrier and surrounding pavement.” Can the government provide pictures of each barrier location included in this requirement and clearly define how many feet in all four directions from each barrier the contractor is required to paint the pavement?

Answer: All the model numbers for all the gates are clearly labeled in the attachments. The only one that will require painting are the two wedge barriers here at Rome, because we drive over them daily. The drop arm barriers and slide gate do not have any pavement area that is painted. The two wedge barriers at Rome do not either (see photo below). The white painted lines are not part of the Vehicle Barrier Maintenance.
