About this file
This document is a Response Matrix of Industry Questions and Answers (Q&A) related to the Command and Control Simulation Environment for Training (C2SET) program Industry Day announcement.
The document provides responses to industry questions regarding the C2SET program, which is an effort by the United States Air Force (USAF) AFLCMC/C3CO (Kessel Run) to conduct market research on capabilities related to sustaining, building, integrating, and modernizing Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A). The program objectives include simulating and stimulating the Air Operations Center Weapon System, operationally sustaining and maintaining C2SET capabilities, modernizing existing simulation tools, providing real-time simulation support, and developing an M&S DevSecOps Platform. The government is seeking input from industry on cloud-hosted exercise support, migration from AWSIM to AFSIM as the core air model, experience with data fabrics like MSSV, and any challenges supporting the established technology stack. An industry day event is scheduled for September 4-5, 2024 with a 60-minute program overview, Q&A session, and 30-minute one-on-one sessions. Responses to the RFI are due by August 23, 2024.

Industry Question Final Government Response
1 Q&A Question 1 Industry Day Posting Industry Day Details A
We like to know if the 3 Attendee limit applies to both In- Person and Virtual, or simply for the for the In-Person and one-on-one sessions? In other words, could our company have 3-5 Virtual attendees and 3 In-person attendees, for a total of
6-8?
The three person limit applies specifically for in-person engagements. There is no limit to the number of people who can attend virtually. However, the one-on-one sessions are either completely in-person or virtual; there is no hybrid option for one-on-ones. Additionally, the virtual one-on-one sessions are reserved to those who cannot attend in person.
