About this file

This document is a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Research Laboratory soliciting research proposals for the Enabling Cyber-Linked Physical Sensing Exploitation (ECLPSE) program. The BAA seeks proposals for research and analysis on cyber-physical sensing and Electronic Warfare (EW)-kinetic effects to understand how cyber-connected devices interact with the physical environment in applications such as manufacturing, utilities, transportation, agriculture, and medicine. Research objectives involve analyzing system behaviors, interactions, vulnerabilities across air, space, cyber and ground domains and developing disruptive technologies, with projected Technology Readiness Levels ranging from 1 to 4. The effort is estimated to be 15% basic research, 70% applied research and 15% advanced research. Proposals are sought through a two-step open BAA process to generate knowledge and understanding of multi-domain sensing effects, including for internet of things and distributed sensing configurations, with a need for operational capability development in support of national security objectives.
