A: Power can be run from the existing power panel Q: There are currently two LED light fixtures mounted above the existing Mezzanine. One at each end of the area. Are lights required for the upper level of the new mezzanine?
A: Existing LED lights fixtures should be reused for upper level lights.
Q: 3.2.6.4 Fire Suppression Design Analysis: If the analysis provided with the shop drawing determines that fire suppression is required for the rack supported mezzanine, is the Contractor responsible for implementing the fire suppression retrofit or will the Government Cover the cost of implementation and execution.
A: Current mezzanine does not have a fire suppression system and it is expected that the new one will not require one either. If a licensed professional Fire Protection Engineer says otherwise, then the base or government will review, and, if needed, look into options to cover the additional cost.
