For the purpose of providing a fully automated baggage conveying system, we recommend that the BHS Contractor furnish, install, power, and control the overhead doors from the associated (Inbound/Outbound) main control center (MCC).

1. Can the painted steel shrouding located outside of public view match a specified side guard’s finish?
Additional information will need to be provided with the RFP to further understand the concern.
2. Confirm that both the Inbound and Outbound subsystems can be installed simultaneously.
This may be possible. However, installation schedule will need to be closely coordinated with local base personnel to minimize impact to the AF mission. As stated in the Contractor Information.pdf: The contractor will be installing the equipment in close proximity to normal Air Force operations. The Contractor must minimize interference with base personnel.
3. Please clarify, if any, limitations to the working days and hours during installation.
Working days/hours are listed in the Contractor Information.PDF. However, differing working hours may be closely coordinated with local base personnel to determine if it is acceptable.
4. Considering the amount of equipment and deliveries, a delivery timeframe of 30 Calendar Days for the installation and integration of both systems is not feasible. May we respectfully request that this duration be changed to 60 calendar days?
The proposed delivery schedule should be provided in the RFP.
