FA8604-19-R-8108
Set 1 03/26/2019
Q1: “I am not seeing what the available power supply is in the bldg. the install will occur – Would you please provide what is available and preferred voltage for the lifts” A1: The following information is provided in the Contractor Information attachment:
"There are standards for voltages on base (in general): 3 phase 480v/277v and 2 phase 208v/120v at 60Hz. Per CE, 'if user wants to install the 3 phase, 60Hz, 208V equipment in the 3 phase, 480V facility, they need step down transformer (dry type) 3 phase 480V to 3 phase 208V inside of building'" The customer has confirmed that both 3 phase 480v/227v and 2 phase 208v/120v at 60 Hz will be available in the facility.
Q2: “May I assume that all the (red) rack sections drawn on BOS613-01 are configured the same as the drawing on page 7 of attachment 5? (Even though none are not drawn the same)” A2: Correct. Red rack sections on AF Drawing BOS613-01 (Attachment 6) are representative of the locations. The racks shall be configured as specified in Attachment 5.
Q3: “RE: 3.2.9. Attachment 5 – I am not seeing any forklift guard posts on BOS613-01” A3: I have revised AF Drawing BOS613-01 (Attachment 6) to show these forklift guard posts.
Q4: BOS613-01 appears to show a raised platform under the (3) 65’ 11” 463L conveyor lanes. May I assume this is existing? If so – would you please provide details as to the flooring – as well as the framing structure that will be supporting the conveyor runs,” A4: This is a concrete dock that is being installed as part of the building construction.
Q5: “1.2. of attachment 5 calls out 4 x 4 treated hardwood dunnage “or other suitable material as approved by COTR. 3.2.6. of attachment 5 specifies Black Rhino part # SG-4x4-BL96 “or equivalent”. There is a huge difference in both material & price between the poly dunnage & the treated hardwood dunnage. Please clarify which will be accepted.”
A5: Attachment 5 has been revised to update the definition provided in paragraph 1.2. The dunnage shall be provided as specified in paragraph 3.2.6. of Attachment 5.
