Addendum 1.

Updates as of 08 November 2011:

In regards to the display shelving and islands referenced in the Cover PD and in drawing BFR1B0-01 and BFR1B0-02: quantities stated in the Cover PD are 20 ea of the 4' islands to construct 10 ea 8' islands. The layout/diagrams in the drawings seem to suggest that there would instead be 11 ea new 8' islands to be provided and assembled.

This is absolutely correct. There shall be a total of 11 ea 8’W island sections to be provided and assembled. There was a typo in the documentation.

Also request clarification of units drawn in red - what does the abbreviation "N.I.C." mean?

The units in red are existing units within the facility or “Not In Contract”

Would a 24' island be considered in lieu of 3 ea 8' units butted end-to-end, or are the island requested in this manner in order to match existing islands?

The island sections will be placed inside/underneath existing 8’W pallet racking. The pallet rack uprights will separate the 8’W island sections. So, the island sections must be assembled in 8’W units as opposed to one big long unit. This is a similar configuration to the wide span shelving and wall sections of display shelving.

As of 02 November 2011:

Addendum notice in regards to flex conveyor as noted on the CPD 3.1.6:

The flex conveyor shall be a Nestaflex Model Number 22624016 or equivalent.

The conveyor shall have a minimum width of 24” and a minimum contracted length of 4’, and a max extended length of 17’.
