About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation Number FA860125R0012 for Water Lab Analysis Services. The Q&A addresses four key clarification points regarding the solicitation: (1) OH lab certification is not required for all parameters when submitting a proposal, (2) the vendor cannot provide full courier services as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), which may impact bid eligibility, (3) the hazardous waste source cannot be confirmed, with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) planning to request proper waste characterization analyses, and (4) analytical samples can be in solid, liquid, or gas form. The document is part of a solicitation for laboratory analysis services issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Text version
1. Is OH lab certification needed for all parameters in order to provide a proposal? No.
2. We can supply return address shipping labels but at this time we cannot pick up samples, repackage for shipping and ship back to the lab and we cannot provide courier pick up service. Does this preclude us from bidding on the program? Per PWS, courier service is required. Repackaging and shipping are not an option.
3. Could you please confirm whether the hazardous waste is from a known source?
Impossible to confirm, but WPAFB will request the proper analyses for waste characterization.
4. Additionally, is the waste in liquid form? Analytical samples can be solid, liquid, or gas.
