About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a federal furniture procurement solicitation for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Building 30207 Area A. The solicitation (FA8601-25-Q-0064) is issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and seeks furniture for a specific facility, with responses due by 13 August 2025 at 11:00 AM EDT. The procurement is for a firm-fixed-price contract with a 120-day performance period, with contractors required to provide comprehensive furniture solutions including modular system panels, worksurfaces, storage units, and specialized furniture configurations.
The Q&A document covers 32 specific questions addressing detailed technical requirements, including panel specifications, power configurations, door heights, shelving options, receptacle placements, and finish selections. Key clarifications include acceptance of notches in worksurfaces, confirmation of mobile file cabinet specifications, allowance for metal markerboard tiles, approval of various panel and leg configurations, and flexibility on certain design elements. The government indicates that final selections for some specialized elements will occur upon contract award, and contractors are advised that non-standard selections may incur additional costs. Submission requirements include comprehensive technical proposals, pricing details, 3D renderings, and compliance with specific government specifications.
