Questions and Answers From Site Visit 7/8/2021

1. The SOW states in 4.6 Lead Time that the Work is to be completed 60 days from contract award.

Can you clarify that this is just for work/material procurement to commence? Yes once the contract is awarded we would be fine to allow 60 days for procurement/work to start. Work will need to be completed within 90 days from contract award.

2. The SOW calls for the new panels to provide expansion capability for future alarm points. It was discussed at the meeting that the intention was for these “future” alarm points to be pre‐programed at the BDOC server. Can you confirm with Security Forces ESS that they will allow these spare (future) alarm points to be pre‐programed and named “spare”? We can not have preprogrammed “spare” access points. The contractor will need to provide us with all the “spare” wireless points requested so that we have them available for programming in the future.

3. Will 120v low voltage be provided by the NMUSAF? If there is existing 120v outlets in the area that is verified 24 hour power are not being used they are free to use it. If a new 120v wiring\outlet needs installed at location than that should be included in the bid for them to have it installed to 24 hour power.

4. Will the contractor be utilizing existing wiring or responsible for their own? Existing wiring will be used.

5. Are there extra wiring chases between building 4 and 1? No.

6. Can the contractor utilize existing fiber/copper? Yes, there is fiber available between all buildings.
