About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Air Force Solicitation FA857126Q3000, addressing clarifications on specifications for two material cage structures required by the Air Force Sustainment Center at Robins AFB, Georgia.
For the Production Support Center (PSC) cage, key clarifications include: mesh specification of 2" x 2" x 10 gauge; door height of 10' x 10'; padlock hasp locks required on doors; wire decking of 48" depth (accounting for 42" frame distance plus 3" frame thickness on each side); beam level capacity of 2,500 pounds or higher; both 4-foot swing door and 10-foot sliding door positioned on the 105-foot face; and the cage configured as a freestanding, four-sided structure. For the Pylon Wing Interface (PWI) cage, the government clarified that upright beams are already in the government's possession, requiring only wire deck supply; beam level capacity specification does not apply; and the cage is also four-sided. Both cages require 2" x 2" x 10 gauge mesh per DEA specifications.
