About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Paint Booth Roll-Up Door Replacement solicitation, with the contract number FA8571-26-Q-0004. The Q&A reveals several key details about the project: the door operator must be explosion-proof due to the paint booth environment, and the control mechanism will be a simple push-button system (up, down, stop). The color specifications include a Primed Brown curtain and hood, with a Powder Coat-Black bottom bar, guide, and bracket.

Vendors asked for specific color codes (PCTA and RAL numbers), but the government respondent declined, stating they prefer standard brown and black colors. Additionally, when asked about fire retardant requirements, the response clearly indicated that the roll-up door does not need to be fire retardant. The Q&A document spans multiple questions received between 10/10/25 and 10/27/25, providing clarification on technical specifications for potential bidders.
