Category Proposed Effort Fill-in for the Effort Identified in para. C above (Offeror completes)

1. Nature of Business Area(s) Involved

Development, production, repair, services similar in scope and magnitude of effort and complexities that will be required

2. Required Levels of Technology

Electrical systems, integrated electronic controls, hydraulic systems, tight tolerance machining, specially adapted test tooling supporting structural testing.

3. Materials and Production Processes

Machining, welding and heat treat (as applicable) low carbon common and structural steels, AISI 300 series stainless steels and 17-4PH steels

4. Performance Location Facility 1: address/prototype Facility 2: production

5. Contract Type(s) FFP

6. Quantities produced, # repaired or other quantitative data

11 ea basic year, plus option quantity (See Schedule B)

7. Program Similarity

a. Electrical Power

b. Electronic circuit cards

c. Functional Performance Testing of Completed Item

d. Machining

e. Structural Load Testing

e. Welding

f. Manufacturing

g. Hydraulics

Production, installation, test on 208V-440V, 50-400 HZ, 3 phase power and 240V-120V, 50-60HZ, 1 phase power

Efforts that employed commercial-off-the-shelf circuit cards exclusively must identify as such. Offeror should cite circuit card tests by type: continuity tests, isolation tests, high-potential tests and power-on tests

Straight line towing, braking and towing maneuvering tests on pavement at speeds of up to 20 mph. Testing also includes tests of manual and electro-hydraulic systems including integrated electronic control system. NOTE: Tow testing requires reasonably level (3% grade max) paved surface (asphalt, concrete or combination) approximately 460 x 90 ft or variation thereon that supports testing IAW ATP 2230 in the item TDP. Offeror should provide a top level breakdown of past test requirements for each item submitted as comparable in whole or in part.

Machined feature tolerances as tight as +.0003/-.0025 inch

Controlled application of external loads in the 25,000 to 40,000 lbs range on the completed item and involved one or more other load conditions at lesser loads.

NOTE: Structural testing requires an overhead clearance of not less than (NLT) 198 inches (plus additional clearance for load test tooling including any portion of the dummy engine above top of cradle, overhead cranes, etc.) for external application of 40,000 lb load to the test item (including dead weight of dummy engine and cradle). Offeror should state loads employed in past efforts and provide a brief description of test condition(s).

Material in the .090 – 2.00 inch stock/feature thickness range included low carbon common and structural steels, AISI 300 series stainless steels and 17-4PH steels End items measure a nominal 118 inches

(W) x 414 inches (tow bar at tow height) and an overall extended height of 148 inches (or larger with tooling for testing)

End item hydraulic system utilizing 3000

(or greater) psig rated servo-hydraulic components and both solid and flex-line plumbing.

8. Program Phase

9. Other

2. This paragraph shall also include details to support your record for on time delivery, technical quality and cost control for this effort identified in paragraph C. above.

4. If you are small business, indicate your compliance with FAR 52.219-8, Utilization of Small Business Concerns, by completing the following. That is, when subcontracting possibilities existed on this effort, did you award subcontracts to small business concerns, veteran-owned small business concerns, service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns, HUBZone small business concerns, small disadvantaged business concerns, and women-owned small business concerns to the fullest extent consistent with efficient contract performance? If FAR 52.219-8 was NOT included in this effort, whenever subcontracting possibilities existed in the performance of this effort, address whether or not it was your policy to utilize small business concerns, veteran-owned small business concerns, service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns, HUBZone small business concerns, small disadvantaged business concerns, and women-owned small business concerns to the fullest extent consistent with efficient contract performance.
