Questions and Answers 28 April 2026

1. It seems this is a partial re-engineering effort for the Radar Array Gearbox. There are some items listed with drawings, and some that would require my team to derive. Is this correct, or will the Air Force provide all necessary drawings?

A: All available drawings have been made available via the SAM posting.

2. The solicitation asks for a quantity of two. Does the Air Force plan to submit a follow-on solicitation for a larger quantity after FA850726RB004 is completed?

A: A follow-on for larger quantity is not planned at this time.

3. Should a proposal date beyond 7 May be required for my team, would the Air Force consider shifting this requirement to the right?

A: Operational and acquisition considerations do not allow for an extension to be granted at this time. The USG is monitoring and will provide notice via this SAM posting of any extensions.
