About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document from a federal contract solicitation dated 10 April 2026. The document addresses a discrepancy in the Statement of Work (SOW) regarding the quantity of Elevation Gearboxes to be manufactured and delivered. Section 1.1 of the SOW initially specified one (1) Elevation Gearbox, while section 1.2 specified two (2) Elevation Gearboxes. The solicitation document also referenced delivery of two gearboxes.

The Contracting Officer, Brandon A. Jones (NH-03, DAF) from AFLCMC/ESGK-R Strategic Ground Sensors, confirmed that the correct requirement is for two (2) Elevation Gearboxes and acknowledged the error in section 1.1 of the SOW. The government committed to including a redline correction to the SOW at Contract Award to resolve this discrepancy.

Q: In section 1.1 of the SOW it is stated to manufacture and deliver one (1) Elevation Gearbox, but in section 1.2 of the SOW it is stated to manufacture and deliver two (2) Elevation Gearbox. The solicitation also states the delivery of 2 gearboxes, are we correct to assume 2 gearboxes is indeed the required number to manufacture and deliver?

A: Requirement is for two (2) Elevation Gearboxes. The USG acknowledges the error and will include this redline in the SOW at Contract Award.
