About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to a request for information (RFI) for interruptible natural gas utility services. The RFI involves providing regulated interruptible natural gas services on a full service basis including transportation to the premises served for the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center over a potential ten-year period consisting of one base year and nine option years. The responses indicate the RFI involves natural gas pipeline infrastructure and meters owned by Atlanta Gas and Light and the City of Warner Robins near Robins Air Force Base. Historical daily natural gas usage data is not available through the RFI process.

RFI Questions and answers
1. Can you provide the Pipeline names for service locations 1 and 2?
RAFB uses the terms of City of Warner Robins (COWR)(location 2) and Atlanta Gas and Light (AGL)(location 1) pipe lines
1. Do you have specific meter names for locations 1 and 2?
RAFB has not named either of the meters that are referenced.
Those meters are owned and operated by COWR and AGL.
Said meters would be named by the associated owners.
1. Will they accept a response that only shows 4 or 5 yr term? Answer: NO – this is a 10 year effort with one base year and 9 annual options.
1. Is the site meter behind the city or behind AGL system? Answer: NO - Any site meter in place is a part of the respective system (AGL or WR Gas)
1. Will they provide daily historical usage? Answer: If referring to gas usage the Rate Schedule 2024 shows estimated annual usage. If referring to meter in use, then NO it does not send beyond daily usage currently to us.
1. Will they allow removal of much of the language surrounding responsibilities that are most definitely not ours. IE.. Gas Quality, measurement standards etc etc. Answer: NO
1. Do they have capacity? Answer: not sure what the question is on this one?
1. Are they flexible on the curtailment language? ( have to look into it but think AGL has ability to curtail within 4 hours instead of 24 in the agreement. Answer: NO – we must have 24 hour notice to be able to provide our requirements and be able to Curtail with our system running.
1. We need dailies to figure out if we can even manage this though. Answer: The estimated usage is found in the Rate Schedule 2024 that is attachment to the RFP.
