FMS SAMPLE TASK

Avionics Intermediate Shop Product Support Integration

(AIS/PSI)

Statement of Objectives for:

FMS SAMPLE TASK

Prepared By:

416 SCMS/GUMAA

6070 Gum Lane Bldg. 1213 Hill AFB, UT 84056-5825

1.0 Background

The Avionics Intermediate Shop (AIS) Systems Sustainment Program, located in the 416 Supply Chain Management Squadron (SCMS), utilizes a Product Support Integrator (PSI) to ensure operational capability of Advanced Computer Avionics Intermediate Shop (AdC AIS), Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop (IAIS), Versamodule Extensions for Instrumentation Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop (VXI-IAIS), and Rackmount Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop (R-IAIS) test systems worldwide by providing system-level support for systems engineering, integration, problem resolution, sustainment, and purchasing activities. AIS Systems consist of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), ATE components, Test Program Sets (TPSs), and ancillary Support Equipment (SE) hardware and software. These systems are used by the United States Air Force (USAF) and European Participating Air Force (EPAF) / Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers throughout the world to perform fault diagnostic testing and repair of F-16 Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). These systems are critical in order to meet warfighter requirements and rapidly return faulty LRUs to operational condition. To ensure that requirements are fulfilled in the most cost-effective and timely manner possible, the 416 SCMS utilizes a PSI to develop, test, integrate, and provide logistics and engineering sustainment support.

2.0 Purpose

The purpose of this Statement of Objectives (SOO) is to solicit a proposal for the 416 SCMS, on behalf of an FMS Country.

3.0 Scope

The Scope of this effort is to provide AIS/PSI services that include performing Installation and Check-Out (ICO) of one (1) R-IAIS test station provided to country via Third-Party-Transfer (TPT), providing Automatic Test System (ATS) familiarization training, providing legacy Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD) hardware and associated ancillary SE in support of Block 70 aircraft, and generating a technical study identifying alternatives for the development of testing capabilities for other Block 70 LRUs not currently hosted on the R-IAIS series of test stations (CDRL A009, DI-MISC-80508B/T). This Task Order shall:

· Obtain AIS/PSI technical services.

· Provide for integration and testing of all required deliverables.

· Provide all necessary supplies, spares, tools, test equipment, consumables, hardware, software, automatic data processing equipment, data/documentation, and other applicable properties.

· Provide Program Management (CDRL A001, DI-MGMT-80227/T).
