Air Force Response to Comments/Questions from Industry
Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Last Updated: 20 January 2015
Below is a list of questions/comments the Air Force has received from industry regarding the FA8224-15- R-0010 RFP posting on FedBizOpps and the Air Force responses to the questions/comments. Air Force responses are based on the best information available at this time and are subject to change in the event the requirement is amended. Only the RFP and RFP Amendments, if issued, should be relied upon while preparing proposals.
1. Industry Question: Section L.5.4.1.2.(a).(iv) and the answer to question 17 posted 13 January 2015. Section (iv) titled Contractor Information/Personnel (PWS Section 3.1) was removed from L.5.3. and M.2.4.4.1.(a). Should it also have been removed from L.5.4.1.2.(a)?
Air Force Response: Yes, this has been removed from Section L 5.4.1.2.(a).
2. Industry Question: AGE Workload History (Attachment 5), Arizona AGE PMI and
Unscheduled Maintenance History (Attachment 10) and TEP Pricing Worksheet (Attachment 4).
The AGE Workload History (Attachment 5) and Arizona Age PMI and Unscheduled Maintenance History (Attachment 10) does not include any assets under Category 1 "On-Call" for the AMARG location. Is the contractor required to submit a unit price for Category 1 service at AMARG on the TEP Pricing Worksheet (Attachment 4)?
Air Force Response: Historically, AMARG has not had Category 1 AGE. Government requests a competitive unit price in case it arises in the future. A notional quantity will apply to this rate of TEP.
