PMEL Program Overview

SCOPE
Operate the Hill AFB Type IIA Precision Measurement Equipment
Laboratory (PMEL) as part of the 527 EMXS PMEL Squadron providing Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibration and maintenance support to OO-ALC Hill AFB and the surrounding geographical area IAW T.O. 00-20-14 Section 4.1.2 Figure 4-1.
Hill has one of the largest supported inventories in the Air Force
Workload covers every measurement discipline from basic dimensional hand tools to complex RF Measurement systems
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The Contractor shall provide qualified personnel, equipment, materials, management, and services necessary to perform traceable calibration and related maintenance and repair capabilities to operate the Type IIA PMEL at Hill AFB, Utah. All work shall be performed In Accordance With (IAW) the requirements of the Performance-Based Work Statement (PWS) and all cited publications.
