Questions with Responses

Listed below are questions submitted by Potential Offerors and the applicable Government Response.

1. Contractor Question:

We have four drawings:

a. 20097321 (Fuze Protective Cap)

b. 20097320 (Fuze Retainer Ring)

c. 20108042 (Packaging, Adapter kit, Bomb)

d. 20107100 (BLU-109 Joint Direct Attack Munition; Fuze Retainer Ring and Protective cap, FMU-

143 Kit)

We need to understand that the “Assembly” consists of 20097321 & 20097320 which are depicted on drawing 20107100 (sheet 3 of 3). That these two parts will be shipped according to the drawing 20108042. The third depiction on drawing 20107100 (sheet 3 of 3) is Unidentified and not part of the assembly that we need to address for this SOW. Are we correct in this statement?

Government Response:

The statement provided above is correct with the exception that none of the Engineering Orders (EOs) are listed here. The EOs have requirements that are associated with the drawings.

Please note that there are 4 EOs attached to the solicitation in addition to the 4 drawings listed above.

2. Contractor Question:

THE SOW asks for a quote for FMS, if it is Foreign Military Sales, why would the price be different if we are shipping to one location?

Government Response:

As stated in Section L and Section M of the solicitation, all pricing related information shall be addressed in attachment L-2 Total Evaluated Price (TEP) Worksheet. All pricing proposed in the TEP Worksheet shall be incorporated into Section B of the model contract and be contractually binding.

Attachment L-2, TEP Worksheet, combines the U.S. Air Force CLIN and the FMS CLIN for each ordering period. Therefore, the Government anticipates the USAF and FMS prices to be the same.
