About this file

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from the Department of the Air Force for Eject Sequence Mode Selector fuzes for military use. The solicitation (FA8213-26-Q-3000) is for two bid options: Bid A requires First Article Testing, while Bid B does not. The procurement is for multiple line items of fuzes with National Stock Number 1377-01-479-9295ES, with quantities ranging from 6 to 20 units per line item.

Key details include a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) component for Saudi Arabia, with delivery required within 18 months. The solicitation is restricted to qualified sources and requires ISO 9001-2015 certification. Manufacturers include Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company, Chemring Energetic Materials, and Rockwell Collins. The fuzes are classified as Hazardous Class Division 1.4 with various compatibility groups, and they will be used for detonating purposes. The RFQ indicates a routine priority and includes provisions for Buy American Act compliance, unique item identification, and specific packaging and marking requirements.
