Statement of Work – Relocate VTC This statement of work combines two like requirements with the goal of standardizing equipment and user interface throughout the seven conference rooms identified below.

Requirement Description (Conference Room 132): The contractor shall provide products and professional services to relocate an existing audio visual and non-secure VTC system from building 1289 SE to conference room 132 in building 688. Conference room 132 is a 25 person multipurpose conference room (see attached layout.) The contractor shall provide the necessary engineering, labor, hardware, software, support equipment, materials, cabling, accessories, and supervision to successfully implement and test the AV and non-secure VTC capabilities in the new location. The government requests a turnkey solution whereby upon completion of the work the area is ready for immediate use. This turnkey solution excludes Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) such as computers and also excludes electrical power and LAN/Voice/ISDN cabling. Minor construction, if needed, will be provided by the government and may include rough-in, structural cutting, and ceiling tile modifications and/or replacement. The government will evaluate contractor solutions/proposals and reserves the right to select other solutions if more advantageous to the government. Government will be provided all commercial manuals, instruction sheets, and start-up guides, as applicable, for items purchased. The contractor shall propose an upgrade in the base bid to bridge the gap between digital and analog technology created by the analog sunset. The upgrade will allow existing VTC equipment to interface with new digital standards such as HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI. Other system upgrades may be proposed but shall be priced separately as options. The government may or may not choose to exercise upgrade options.

Equipment to be moved is identified on the attached equipment list. We do not intend to move the projectors or screens. The contractor shall provide and install two 80" High Definition (1080p) LED flat screens and shall provide associated mounts and cabling to attach to a government furnished computer.

The contractor shall reprogram the VTC to operate in the new configuration. The government will provide a CD containing the original source code to be used as required.

Special Considerations: Conference room 132 was designed with a VTC installation in mind. Furniture includes a conference table with power and network cable management through the floor and a government provided computer mounted under the table. At times there may be a laptop connected at the table. The contractor shall ensure that displays can be driven by either the PC or laptop without having to reconfigure physical connections. There is also an audio visual capable credenza in the back of the room to house the VTC. Conduit paths are provided between the table and the front/back of the room. The contractor shall use available cable paths to provide a professional installation.

Requirement Description (Conference Rooms 121, 137, 206, 216, 219, and 228) : The contractor shall provide products and professional services to procure, install, and verify operation of audiovisual equipment in six conference rooms located in building 688 on Hill AFB, UT. Each of the six conference rooms will have government provided conference tables equipped with power and network cable management through the floor. Government provided computers will be mounted under each conference table. The Contractor shall provide the necessary engineering, labor, hardware, software, support equipment, materials, cabling, accessories, and supervision to successfully implement and test the AV capabilities in each location. The government requests a turnkey solution whereby upon completion of the work the area is ready for immediate use. This turnkey solution excludes Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) such as computers and also excludes electrical power and LAN/Voice/ISDN cabling. Minor construction is not anticipated but, if needed, will be provided by the government and may include rough-in, structural cutting, and ceiling tile modifications and/or replacement. The government will evaluate contractor solutions/proposals and reserves the right to select other solutions if more advantageous to the government. The contractor shall provide all commercial manuals, instruction sheets, and start-up guides, as applicable, for items purchased.

In addition to the PC mounted under the table, at times there may be a laptop connected at the table. The contractor shall ensure that displays in each room can be driven by either the PC or laptop without having to reconfigure physical connections. Interface with new digital standards such as HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI shall be supported. Conduit paths are provided between the table and the front of the room. The contractor shall use available cable paths to provide a professional installation.
