About this file

This document is a Pre-Bid Request for Information (RFI) #002 for a construction renovation project at Tinker Air Force Base. The project, identified as WWYK260007, involves renovating the Pratt & Whitney Area in Building B3001. The RFI was issued on 7/06/2026 with a Government response provided on 8/24/2026.

The Contractor's four primary inquiries concern the Government Furnished furniture and workstation layout plan for the renovated elevated platform office area. Specifically, the Contractor requested: (1) the detailed furniture/workstation layout plan to determine workstation count, computer density, and circuit/receptacle quantities per Design Narrative 6.3; (2) if a final layout plan is unavailable, the anticipated total workstation/desk count to establish the basis of design; (3) confirmation of whether the Government will provide a furniture layout plan prior to the Contractor's 35% design submission (per SOW paragraph 3.5.1) or whether the Contractor should develop its own workstation density assumptions; and (4) the anticipated number of computer workstations to support the circuit grouping formula (2 receptacles per 6 computers plus 8 utility circuits). The Government's response, provided by JM on 8/24/2026, simply stated "See provided layout," indicating that the requested furniture layout plan was made available to the Contractor.

Project # WWYK260007

Renovate Pratt & Whitney Area, B3001

Pre-Bid RFI #002

1. Please provide the Government Furnished furniture/workstation layout plan for the renovated elevated platform office area in B3001 so the Contractor can accurately determine workstation count, computer density, and circuit/receptacle quantities per design narrative 6.3.

2. If a final furniture layout plan is not yet available, please provide the Government’s anticipated total workstation

/ desk count for the renovated space so the Contractor may establish basis of design for the receptacle and circuit scope.

3. Please confirm whether the Government intends to provide a furniture layout plan prior to the Contractor’s 35% design Submission (SOW para 3.5.1) or whether the Contractor shall develop its own workstation density assumptions.

4. Please confirm the anticipated number of computer workstations (i.e. computers) the Government intends to operate in the renovated space, as this number directly drives the circuit grouping formula established in the

Design Narrative 6.3 (2 receptacles per 6 computers + 8 utility circuits)
