WRM Warehouse Vendor Quesons
1. DOD Approved ACS, as well as NDAA Approved VSS; I do not see the current systems on either of those lists. Any plan to replace them in the immediate future?
If alarm system is out of date, maintain current system.
2. Forgive me if I am missing it, but is there a device count of all the security devices that are to be included in the Annual Service and Maintenance?
Field devices and components include:
Brivo Onsite server access control system that is managed through a Geovision NVR server via local web portal; one (1) controller card, nine (9) reader boards installed. Surface mounted electric strikes are installed throughout the facility.
Network Video Security Camera System consists of: Windows 7 Professional Geovision server, eighteen (18) IP cameras, and network switches (Geovision 8 port POE switches).
IDS System consists of a Honeywell Vista 128BPTSIA with four parons. Each paron has its own keypad and there are two keypads on the main paron.
3. What are the manufacturers of each system and model numbers of each system that will be included in the maintenance?
Please see the answer to Queson 2. Some details cannot be obtained unless system is manually removed.
4. What versions of soware are the system currently on?
Windows 7 Professional Geovision is used.
5. Will the service agreement include yearly soware maintenance of each system?
Yes.
6. What manufacturer of each system is at the site, what version of soware is currently at the site, what is the user ID for the system itself if yearly soware maintenance is required? Will we get the USER ID to get a proposal for the soware maintenance from the manufacturer?
Please see the answer to Queson 2. Some details cannot be obtained unless system is manually removed. There is no USER ID.
7. Is there an exisng points list, how many of each device, model numbers of all field devices, model number of panels installed at the site?
There is no points list. Not all model numbers are available. Please see Queson 2 for list of components and devices.
8. Will the contractor be responsible for the maintenance of the communicaon media (LAN Network) for each system?
The Alarm System communicates through a cellular communicator and has 40 zones. There are dedicated zones that detect environmental condions such as water and low temperature. It is not ed to the government network.
9. Will the contractor be responsible for the replacement of back up bateries for each system? I.E, system back up bateries or replacement of UPS bateries?
There are no backup bateries, only those that are preinstalled. These will be needed to be maintained.
10. We don't see an equipment list that we'll be responsible for maintaining. Can the Government please provide quanty and types of devices that will be maintained under this contract?
Please see Queson 2.
11. What type of alarms are needing service. Can you provide more detail on the systems that will need maintenance as well as updates?
Please see Queson 2.
12. I’d like to touch base on your current Brivo Onsite Access control System. Brivo On-site was End of Life (EOL) January of this year, ceasing support and materials from the manufacturer. We will most likely bid to support your system in whatever capacity we can. Brivo has since moved to 100% cloud-based Access Control System. So the opon to change over is there but will require monthly subscripon fees. If you have any quesons, please feel free to reach out.
If alarm system is out of date, maintain current system.
13. To provide a more accurate esmate and ensure that the proposed maintenance and upgrade plan meets the specific needs of the client, I would like to visit the site to assess the current state of the system and evaluate the needs.
Yes, this is permited from April 16 to April 18, 2024 (Tuesday through Thursday).
