About this file

This document is a response to questions from industry regarding a Request for Information (RFI) for the Department of the Air Force Civilian Wellness (Solicitation No. FA800324R0019). The RFI is seeking information to determine options for providing comprehensive support to the Department of the Air Force (DAF) civilian workforce and their families.

The key details are: there is no incumbent on this new effort, FedRAMP certification is required for cloud service providers, and the contract will likely be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type. The RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation announcement, so no solicitation document currently exists. The contracting agency is the Air Force Installation Contracting Agency, which is part of the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command.

FA800324R0019 - DAF Civilian Wellness RFI Amendment 1

Response to Questions from Industry

Q: Is there an incumbent on this effort?

A: No. This is a new effort to determine options to provide comprehensive support to our DAF civilian workforce and their families.

Q: What is FedRAMP

A: FedRAMP is a certification that cloud service providers seeking to offer technology solutions to federal agencies must be registered with. FedRAMP certification is a required by the Air Force to perform this work.

Q: What is an F-Type Contract

A: That is a mistake in the draft PWS. We are looking at a FFP (Firm Fixed Price) type contract.
