About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a furniture procurement, delivery, and installation project for the 557th suite at Building 9207, United States Air Force Academy in Colorado. The project requires the furniture contractor to supply and install National Waveworks wood veneer case goods, painted metal, and laminate modular components across four workstations in various office areas, including the Director's office, Front Admin Area, and other specified spaces. Key requirements include providing furniture with specific dimensions, configurations, and features such as overhead storage units, work stations, returns, mobile file drawers, desktop clamp modules, and guest chairs, all to match existing furniture finishes.
The SOW specifies detailed requirements for the furniture contractor, including submitting colors and finishes for Base Interior Designer approval, providing comprehensive drawings and documentation, ensuring all work station furnishings are keyed alike, and quoting mid-grade fabrics. The contractor is responsible for site measurements, clean-up, installation per approved drawings, and obtaining proper badging. Additional obligations include removing existing furniture and transporting specified items to Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services at Ft. Carson, CO, with specific coordination and paperwork submission guidelines. The project emphasizes precision in furniture selection, placement, and installation, with the contractor bearing responsibility for any damages or improper fits.
