STATEMENT OF WORK
PROJECT ZQEL 12-0015
Repair Exterior of Building 207 11 April 2012
1.0. Location of Work: The site of the work is at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station, 3976 King Graves Road, Vienna Ohio (Trumbull County), Building 207.
2.0. Summary of Work: Provide a brick veneer exterior for building 207 including a layer of insulation between new brick veneer and concrete wall. Install beneath existing asphalt new drain lines into existing storm drain pipe. Tie existing downspouts from existing canopy attached to building 208 and existing downspouts on building 207 into existing storm drain with new 6”PVC drainage pipe. Modify existing roof eve flashing, fascia, and drip edge to accommodate new brick veneer capping to prevent water from going behind brick veneer.
3.0. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall furnish and install/perform all material, equipment, components, parts, tools, labor, transportation, hauling, disposal/recycling, cleaning, inspection, testing, commissioning, training, reporting, etc., necessary to perform this project as described in the contract-delivery order, including this Statement of Work and any/all applicable federal, state and local law, regulation, standards, and codes. Unless otherwise stated, any/all work items includes requirement for contractor to remove and properly dispose of/recycle off base, and to furnish and install/incorporate any/all new materials/equipment/components needed to properly complete the work item; any Government furnished property and/or reinstallation of existing materials/equipment/components shall be as stated/specified herein. Contractor shall submit materials/methods for approval prior to ordering and/or incorporation into the work; as a minimum, submittals shall include product literature, MSDS, standard color, texture and style samples/swatches/boards, and place of origin/manufacture. Demolished materials, waste/debris is property of the contractor, unless otherwise stated herein; contractor is responsible for proper disposal/recycling of such materials off base; such material shall be promptly removed from the installation and shall not be stored/stockpiled unless submitted and approved for such. Contractor is responsible for verification of all details, measurements, etc. prior to ordering materials and execution of work. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following principle elements:
3.1. Contractor shall brick veneer building 207 on all four sides of building by installing brick veneer that shall match the existing 910th base architectural design with installation of insulation between brick veneer and existing concrete vault wall in accordance with Kalin specification 07_21_00_ Thermal Insulation as applicable .
3.2. Contractor shall modify all existing wiring and lights on building 207 to accommodate installation of brick veneer installation.
3.3. Contractor shall remove and replace existing fence around building 207 for installation of new 6”PVC drainage pipe.
3.4. Contractor shall finish around existing doors with brick veneer and seal up space between brick veneer and building 207 around service and overhead door.
3.5. Contractor shall install reinforced footers for brick veneer siding.
3.6. Contractor shall modify existing roof eve flashing, fascia, and drip edge to accommodate new brick veneer capping to prevent water from going behind brick veneer.
3.7. Contractor shall tie existing downspouts on building 207 and building 208 canopy into existing storm drain after installation of new 6” PVC drainage pipe beneath existing asphalt.
3.8. Excavated depth for new 6”PVC drain lines shall allow room for minimum of 6” bedding with 12” covering of 304 aggregate and same depth and layers of asphalt as existing.
3.9. Contractor shall install 8” deep, 18” wide heavy duty trench drain with lock down heavy duty grates on location in accordance with drawing REPAIR EXTERIOR, BUILDING207, DATED: 7 JULY 11.
3.10. Any relocating or modification to Advantor alarm system shall be done by authorized installer of the existing alarm system at building 207.
