Availability and Scheduling

The solicitation references 24/7 availability for wash services (Note 2). Can the Government clarify whether the contractor must (a) maintain an on-site presence, or (b) mobilize within the 24-hour notice window, and whether a predetermined wash schedule for base and option years will be provided?

Aircraft Wash PWS 2025 & Clauses Pg

PWS Note 2 (24-hour notice);

If additional technical orders, publications, or forms are required for performance of this Performance Work Statement, arrangements to acquire them can be made through the 439 MXG QA Technical Order Distribution Office or the QAE.

5. Inspection Checklist

Will the Government COR or MXG Wash Supervisor provide official acceptance and inspection sign-off for each completed service in accordance with PWS 4.7 (Quality Assurance), or should the contractor include its own inspection checklist in the Quality Control Plan?

Aircraft Wash PWS 2025, Section 4.7 (Pg 13)

Aircraft Wash PWS

Aircraft Wash PWS

Section 1.4.1 (Environmental Compliance)

No, if Westover is fined, per PWS the “Contractor is responsible for cleanup of spills that occur during the course of performance.

10. G081 Access & Authorization

PWS 1.1.1 states that the MXG Wash Supervisor ensures job close-out in G081 but also allows authorized contractor personnel with NAC and Information Protection Awareness Training to use the system. The PRIME intends to manage G081 entries initially, with the option for trained subcontractors to perform this later if approved. Can the Government confirm if this arrangement is acceptable and whether contractor access to G081 is limited to on-base LAN only (no remote access)?

Aircraft Wash PWS

Sec 1.1.1 and 1.1.5.2

The C.O.R or the QAR will have access to GO81. The contractor may have access with proper training and would be for on-base only.

Aircraft Wash PWS

Sec 1.2.2 (Pre- Wash Preparation), Appendix 1 – Equipment

The towing into and out of the wash facility will be accomplished by Government personnel. Then the contractor’s responsibility begins. During back-to-back washes, the government will provide personnel to tow the completed aircraft out, and the next scheduled aircraft into the wash facility.

13. Chemicals / Cleaning Agents

In previous aircraft wash contracts, the Government furnished approved cleaning agents and referenced them in the PWS. However, for this solicitation, no such provision appears in Section 3 or elsewhere.

Can the Government confirm whether, for FA660625R0010, all cleaning chemicals, soaps, and corrosion-control products must be
