About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) #2 from a site visit on 10/08/2025, providing details about an aircraft washing contract. The document answers seven key questions about operational logistics, including boiler operations, hydraulics management, equipment storage, and wash team requirements. Specifically, the boiler will be operated by PMI and coordinated for each wash, while the contractor will manage aircraft hydraulics. Westover will provide soaps and lubricants, and the vendor will have dedicated locked cages for tools and equipment. Employee parking will be in a lot west of the hangar, with a typical wash team size of 12 workers. The wash time schedule is currently set from 0600 to 1800, with the final timing to be determined administratively in coordination with the Contracting Officer Representatives.
