SOLICITATION FA660618Q0002
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
INTEGRATED SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT (ISWM)
30 May 2018
Question 1: Clin 15 is asking for the cost to run the transfer station then below there are lines 34-38 asking for haul rates. The question is that aren't these rates all in the cost to run the transfer station. Clin 19 is asking for disposal fees and it only multiplies by 12.
Response Question 1: So CLIN 0015 should be the costs that are fixed with running the transfer station. The cost of the attendant and the cost for the 2 dumpster pick-ups that are regularly scheduled within that area. The tipping fee for those 2 scheduled pick-ups is paid under CLIN 0018. All the other dumpsters in the transfer station yard are paid for under the unscheduled placement and pick-up (CLIN 0008) as indicated in the remarks block. Again, any tipping fee is paid out of CLIN 0018.
CLIN 0019 is only for the Marines and Army as indicated. They are a set, assumed weight each time they are emptied as indicated on the bid schedule.
All the rest of the tipping fees are paid out of CLIN 0018 which is by the Lot.
The potential quoters shall assume 1,600 tons per year to calculate the total tipping fees for CLIN 0018 and 0019 combined.
