About this file
This statement of work outlines the requirements for an Air Traffic Control virtual reality training simulator to be deployed at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey. The simulator must include VR headsets, instructor equipment, networked computers compliant with Trade Agreements Act standards, and software. The software must contain a wide range of aircraft models and realistic training scenarios for both air and ground operations. It must allow for voice communication, 2D and 3D airfield views, and adaptation to Incirlik's specific 3D airfield environment. Offerors must propose solutions meeting these specifications and provide product information, demonstrations, and onsite initial and annual training. The related solicitation was issued by the United States Air Forces in Europe–Air Forces Africa agency to equip the 39th Operations Support Squadron at Incirlik AB with a VR simulator to train air traffic controllers.
