About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal solicitation FA568226Q0014 issued by 31 Civil Engineer Squadron (31 CES) dated 22 June 2026. The document addresses clarifications regarding the procurement of 25 military gear lockers.

The requirement specifies 25 lockers to be delivered with 3 shelves per locker (75 total shelves), 3 hooks per locker (75 total hooks), and 25 hangers. The government clarified that no additional shelves, hooks, or hangers beyond these quantities are required, despite earlier proposals that separated locker internals. Assembly of the lockers is preferably to be executed by the end-user; however, if vendors provide pre-built lockers, adjustable shelving must be included as an option to accommodate operational requirements. The document references Attachment 1—Salient Characteristics for additional specifications.

Q8: Could you please confirm whether the end-user will require an additional 75 shelves, 75 hooks, and 25 hangers, in addition to the 3 shelves, 3 hooks, and 1 hanger (per locker) already included with the locker assembly?

A8: The User checked the quotes of empty lockers.

The request is for 25 lockers with 3 shelves each (75 total), 3 hooks each (75 total) and 25 hangers.

Nothing else in addition.

As reported in the Attachement 1- Salient Characteristics , Assembly of the lockers shall be preferably executed by the User. However, if pre-built, the lockers should have the option for adjustable shelving so the locker can better fit the requirement.
