Questions and Answers (Q&A)

Q1: What is the fuel tank capacity?

A: Storage capacity needed is 2,000 gallons/7570 liters.

Q2: As it is known, ATG and SGB consoles/screens/devices can be connected to more than one tank and we can control the status of tanks with a single console/screen. For this, the tanks must be next to each other or close to each other. And if to proceed with a single console, this will reduce the total project amount. Hence request for information about the positions of the tanks at the site.

A2: The tanks must be located at different places around base, geographically separated enough to where each must have their own console.

Q3: Accordingly, do you have the P&ID where we can see this layout plan better? Or do you have a working principle / scenario planned?

A3: As each tank is individual they are not underground and should be a direct replacement for the ones in place. They are currently placed above ground, no P&ID on hand as these were bought 20 years ago.

Q4: Level indicator is written in the specification only for level information. Is it enough to just see the levels here? Will no external command be given? Where will the pumps get fuel from (for 3x7500L tanks)? Is there a main storage tank? Will these pumps and (motorized valves, if any), operate in together automation with the ATG? So will there be an automatic start & stop feature? According to the levels of the 3x7500 L fuel tanks, will it automatically take the fuel from the main tank at L level and finish filling it automatically at H level? Are alarms required at these levels?

A4: These tanks are filled from the large POL trucks that have a pump. When these tanks disperse fuel it will be done from the pump on top of the tank. Level only is fine. I do not believe there is a current automatic stop since they monitor the level indicator on the side of the tanks.
