About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity FA560625Q2038 regarding Education & Training Office Technology Support.
The document addresses personnel eligibility and technical infrastructure requirements for the contract. Security clearance is not required, though a background check is mandatory for base access. U.S. citizenship is not required but highly recommended; local national personnel may be considered if they obtain favorable clearance through background checks and can receive installation access through either DBIDS or German Police background report (Polizeiführungszeugnis). The hardware inventory includes 60 Dell PCs (D15S and D17S models) with peripherals, 4 UniFi switches on separate subnets with UniFi Security Gateway routers and Cloud Key, 8-10 UniFi access points, 15 APC backup power supplies, 3 digital signs, 8 smartboards, and associated cabling and power supplies. The Education System Primary Database operates on Windows 11 and utilizes Pearson Vue, Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) with Lockdown Browser for secure controlled test material, and cloud-based CDC testing via myLearning. No unique hardware is required beyond the listed equipment. An existing government server will no longer be required going forward; all IT infrastructure relies on UniFi switches secured by UniFi Security Gateway routers, with Academic Institutions now operating separate cloud-based Wi-Fi systems independent of government networks. UniFi Enterprise Networking Equipment is the only networking infrastructure in place.

8-10 UniFi access points.
15 APC backup power supplies (UPS) 3 digital signs in Ed Ctr 8 smartboards in classrooms Including all cabling and power supplies for devices listed above Please provide details on Education System Primary Database—hardware and software application(s).

Is there an existing server and backup solution?
What is OEM/models?
We still have a server for the government, but it will no longer be required going forward. All IT is by UniFi switches and secured by the UniFi Security Gateway routers (Firewall). However, Academic Institutions (AIs) are now operating their own Wi-Fi separate from the government.
The AIs no longer use a local backup solution, as their schools now rely on their own cloud-based systems
Networking OEM’s in place?
The only network is the UniFi Enterprise Networking Equipment listed above.
