About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers file for a Roller Rink outdoor sport flooring solicitation (FA527025Q0034) issued by the 18th Contracting Squadron of the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces. The Q&A addresses two key points: site dimensions and installation timeline. Regarding dimensions, the document confirms the area is 1,200 square meters (approximately 12,917 square feet), and clarifies the measurement discrepancy raised by a potential vendor.

For the installation timeline, the document indicates flexibility in vendor delivery schedules, with a preference for the shortest reasonable timeline. Vendors shipping materials from the U.S. can expect international freight to take 4-6 weeks, with on-site installation potentially completed within approximately 3 days after material arrival. The timeline will be a factor in the evaluation of vendor proposals, with the contracting squadron seeking the most efficient and practical implementation approach for the roller rink outdoor sport flooring project.

Roller Rink Questions

1. Site Dimensions: The SOW lists the area as 48m x 25m (12,000 SF). However, 48m x 25m equals 1,200 m², which converts to approximately 12,917 SF. Could you please confirm which figure is correct?

**** It’s 1,200sqmt which does convert to 12,917sqft. ****

1. Installation Timeline: Kindly confirm the required installation deadline. We will be shipping the materials from the U.S., and international freight typically takes 4–6 weeks. Once materials arrive on site, our team can complete installation within approximately 3 days.

****We are looking for vendors to provide the most reasonable timeline. Whatever can be done in the shortest amount of time is preferrable, however a hard deadline needs to be reasonable as it will be a factor in evaluation.****
