About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document dated January 16, 2025, addressing vendor inquiries for solicitation FA524025QM104 regarding Portable Office Space with Power Generation Support System in Guam.

The document clarifies four key points: 1) The government will not accept 8ft x 40ft single-wide portable office space units as they are too narrow for the required equipment and personnel, 2) Furnishings such as computers, phones, tables, and chairs are not included in the scope of work, 3) Communication infrastructure requirements are limited to telephone and internet CAT5/CAT6 terminals, with external connections to be provided by others, and 4) The portable office space will be secured by security fence/gates as specified in CLIN 0003, with flexible final locations based on layout. The electrical power load requirements must support 18 workstations with computers and phones, 10 printers/copiers, microwave, and refrigerator in addition to standard electrical infrastructure.

Attachment 3 – Solicitation FA524025QM104– Vendor RFI: Questions and Answers Portable Office Space with Power Generation Support System (GUAM)

NOTE: This attachment includes inquiries for line item specifications solicitation FA524024QM104 and subsequent Government response. Government responses herein function to supplement Attachment 1 –SOW and will be considered when evaluating offers for technical acceptability. Government responses are formatted in red font and bold.

1. 1. Question: With reference to paragraph 3 of the combined synopsis/solicitation CLIN

0001 & CLIN 002

- Please confirm if we can propose 16 units of 8ft x 40ft single-wide POS as an alternative.

No, with the equipment, and space required for workers and passengers, 8ft wide units are not feasible; even side by side 8ft units with doorways between would not be acceptable.

2. With reference to SOW, item 1.3.3. Electrical Power Load: Adequate power generation support for up to 18 workstations with computers and phones, as well as up to 10 printers/copiers, microwave, and refrigerator in additional to the standard existing electrical infrastructure (outlets, lights, AC).

- Please confirm that furnishing (i.e. computers, phones, tables, chairs, etc.) is not part of the scope.

There are no furnishings (as above comment) included as part of the scope, para 1.3.2.

3. Please confirm if communication infrastructure stated in item 1.3.2 of the SOW will be specifically for telephone and internet CAT5/CAT6 terminals only and external connection by others.

Refer to para 1.3.1 for the listed SOW details; final (external) comm connection would be by others.

4. Please confirm if the POS will be secured by the Security Fence/Gates stated in paragraph 3 of the combined synopsis/solicitation CLIN 0003 Yes, as per listed in the scope; the final locations can be somewhat flexible, based on final layout.
