27 Dec 2019 BAK-12 Arial Arresting Stands Statement of Work
1. PURPOSE: The contractor shall furnish all required parts, equipment, material, and labor to provide the following items in accordance with (IAW) all applicable codes, specifications, and industry/federal standards to:

2. SCOPE:
1. USAF BAK‐12 Base – P/N: 201018916‐1 – 22 Each:
a. See Drawings in attachments 2a, 2b, and 2c.
b. Painted gloss green (MIL-PFR-852285 Rev E Type II Class H, Color Code 14052 per MIL-STD-3035 attached.)
3. First Article Testing (FAT):
1. The purpose of this section is to detail the work required to fulfill the First Article Testing component of this contract.
a. FAT shall be required of any contractor who has not undergone, completed, and received FAT approval for the item purchased under this contract; or a contractor that has not produced BAK-12 systems or components for the USAF within the last 60 months.
2. This is an Air Force designated Critical Safety Item (CSI). All requests for waivers or deviations must be forwarded to the contracting officer for review and approval.
3. FAT shall be coordinated through the Air Force AAS Engineer, Mr. Christopher Peisher. Contact information is listed below:

4. Due to the urgency of this requirement, the Delivery Period shall not be adjusted if a FAT is required.
Accordingly, given the stringent timeline considerations, if a vendor has not already completed a FAT or been issued a waiver by the ESA, they will not be eligible to compete on this requirement.
