All work necessary to complete Seed Project No. A-12-129, Construct DPW Shop Building at Camp Zama on a lump sum price basis

This is a Design-Build construction project set forth at the RFP Section H-8. The offerors shall submit a price proposal in Japanese currency Yen (JPY¥), including all necessary costs, direct and indirect, overhead, and profit, to complete this project in accordance with the SOW listed at Attachment 4a. in Section J, other terms and conditions of the RFP.

Note:

1. The Seed Project is subject to Statutory Cost Limitation of $750,000.

2. The $750,000 limitation will be converted into Yen equivalent amount using a fiscal year (FY)’s Foreign Currency Fluctuation Defense (FCFD) budget rate. (For example, FY 2014 FCFD budget rate is ¥103.9439 and applicable for a period of 1 Oct 13 through 30 Sep 14. In FY 2014, the $750,000 is converted into ¥77,957,925 as the Yen equivalent amount ($750,000 x ¥103.9439 = ¥77,957,925)). Yen equivalent amount calculated as above at the time of the MACC contract award will be used to determine whether price proposals are within the limitation in accordance with DFARS 252.236-7006, Cost Limitation.
