(MHA) Provider for 35th Medical Group, Misawa AB, Japan

1. If a background check is required, for the contractor and any backfill employees, will the government fund and provide this service? If not, would the government identify a separate NTE CLIN for this expense?

a. Background check will be provided by the government at the government cost through the 35 MDG.

2. If a backfill is required: Is there a need for the backfill to maintain their skill set and computer access privileges?

a. Yes, if a backfill is required, she/he would be expected to be current in their clinical skills. They will be held to the same standard as set forth in the PWS. Computer access would not need to be maintained and could be requested/received upon the need for a backfill.

3. Will the government provide additional funding for “surge/training hours” to accommodate for backfill training and any unforeseen training events that might be required by the government?
