About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) amendment document for federal contract opportunity COMBO – FA500026Q0069, a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a 3D printer.
The RFQ is open to full and open competition, including foreign companies and South African companies, subject to applicable trade agreement and country-of-origin restrictions outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses 52.225-3 and 252.225-7001 through 252.225-7060. Prospective vendors must register in SAM.gov and comply with clause 52.204-13 requirements for entity identification. All potential vendors must meet minimum salient characteristics specified in the redacted attachment document before submitting quotations. The RFQ establishes two critical deadlines: September 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM AKDT for submission of questions and requests to points of contact, after which an amendment containing all answers will be posted; and September 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM AKDT as the final deadline for quotation submissions. If funded, contract execution will occur no later than September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM AKDT. The document references Attachment 1 (Salient Characteristic specifications) and Attachment 2 (Additional Provisions and Clauses) for detailed technical and compliance requirements. Prospective vendors seeking guidance on becoming government contractors are directed to APEX Accelerators resources, with Alaska-specific support available through APEX Alaska.
